THE DISTRICT’S TEACHERS OF THE YEAR FOR 2006

Each year, three CUSD teachers are chosen from among our more than 2,200 outstanding instructors as the district’s Teachers of the Year. For 2006, I am proud to announce those selected: Pam Sunderman, a kindergarten teacher at Ladera Ranch Elementary School; Mark Brown, a language arts and social studies teacher at Shorecliffs Middle School in San Clemente; and William Reading, a biology and environmental science teacher at Capistrano Valley High School. A committee of teachers, parents and administrators selected them from among the 55 individual school teachers of the year who were chosen by their campus peers. more
