What will happen if I leave my BYOD device on the CUSD wireless network?

When the CUSD and CUSDSTU wireless networks are removed, any devices still configured to connect to them will be unable to access the internet or network.

What are the benefits of clicking on override and logging in?

Internet access on the Capistrano Unified School District network is determined by who is logged in to the machine or device. Without knowing who is using a device, we provide the lowest tier (i.e. most restricted) internet experience. Once you let us know who you are, you will find an internet experience tailored for you.

Where do I go to override or let the filter know who I am?

What is the CUSD certificate?

You may have noticed the web page provides instructions for installing the CUSD certificate. At a future date, this certificate will allow CUSD to provide additional access and an enhanced web experience for teachers and staff, while still protecting our students.
