Marblehead Elementary To Celebrate Opening of Outdoor Learning Center



SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA. – The Capistrano Unified School District, along with Principal Faith Morris, students, teachers, staff and families of Marblehead Elementary Environmental Studies Academy will celebrate the opening of their Outdoor Learning Center. The Outdoor Learning Center is an amphitheater-styled outdoor classroom with benches and picnic tables (replacing the Home Depot bucket “seats” used in previous years), and is adjacent to the school garden. The Outdoor Learning Center is being lovingly dedicated to celebrate the life of former Marblehead Elementary teacher, Kristina Nusenow.

WHO: Community Members, Families and District Staff


WHEN: Friday, September 8, 2017. Buses Leave the District Office at 9:15 a.m.; Ribbon Cutting: 10:00 a.m.


WHERE: Buses leave from the District Office located at 33122 Valle Road in the city of San Juan Capistrano. Marblehead Elementary is located at 2410 Via Turqueza, San Clemente, CA 92673
