Capistrano Unified is committed to maintaining a learning environment free of harassment to all students. This includes the harassment of any student by any other student, employee or other person at school or any school-related activity. Students who engage in this type of behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension and/or expulsion. For students in grades K-3, the disciplinary action will consider the circumstances involved and the maturity level of the student. A copy of the district’s student sexual harassment policy is provided in the Annual Parent Notice, as required by state law.
Victims of violent crimes may be transferred to an alternate school setting through the administrative placement process.
