Major District Objectives

 

ACCELERATE LEARNING OF ALL STUDENTS
Objective 1: Differentiation of Instruction
Schools will expand their process of data analysis to differentiate instruction in all curricular areas so that all students reach proficient or advanced performance levels.
Objective 2: A-G Requirement
High schools will increase the number of students having completed the UC/CSU A-G Requirements through the refinement of course options and placement criteria, and the implementation of systematic interventions.
 
PROVIDE A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT AT EACH SCHOOL SITE
Objective 1: Bullying
Stakeholders will develop a common understanding of the definition, policies and appropriate responses to  reduce the incidence of bullying behaviors.
Objective 2: Emergency Response Objective
All district staff will use the incident command system and emergency response procedures to respond to emergencies.
 
COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH ALL STAKEHOLDERS
Objective 1: Strategic Plan
A clear, cohesive strategic plan will be developed through the process of stakeholder collaboration and will be used as the basis for decision-making and communication within the district. 
Objective 2: Dissemination of Information
Pertinent information will be disseminated to appropriate stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
